The World of Mitivahd is designed and content presented in an exploratory way for players to discover the world, where the Adventure Master provides the pre-written content for character creation, start location, and related knowledge.  World and Lore details are covered below the map with the following sections:  Map of Mitivahd, World of Mitivahd, Mitivahd Pantheon, and Lore Access.

World to Explore

MAP

Being an expansive geographical world with racial, political, and lore development, the map is a hand painted, 5'x7' canvas, mostly hidden, where  characters  start in this large multi-country region leaving the rest of the world is discovered by characters and players.  Three campaign Journals of the Chronicles are played here.

WORLD

Localized areas are detail formed as civilizations, political structures, and clusters of people connected in a societal fashion.  However with the expanse of undeveloped areas, players and Adventure Masters (Game masters) have the opportunity to create and inject their own backstory or explorable content to play out their own ideas into an integrated world.

PANTHEON

Mitivahd allows characters to choose cleric classes and players adding a faith backstory arc to access special abilities from the more than 20 Orders and Almighties.  With a specific Faith Trait as part of character building, new gameplay mechanics can be utilized to bring forth the power of Almighties or used to resist them whether an agnostic, atheist, or as empowered by one's own Almighty.

LORE

Lore within the world is mostly local with some greater area travel for rumors and insights.  This sets up players to not have readily available and thorough knowledge of areas, creatures, or individuals furthering the need to engage the world to learn about them or go uniformed.  This leads to enriched play of exploration.
